A day exploring the natural wonders in and around Pokhara- Pokhara Day Tour
Pokhara a beautiful valley 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu is the second largest tourism hub of the country. Being the trek starting point to Annapurna Region and catering thrilling adventures like paragliding, bungee jumping, skydiving and zip-flying, Pokhara has been grabbing the attention of thousands travelers every year.
Our Day Tour of Pokhara, before dawn with the drive to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is a hilltop overlooking Pokhara. The view of Himalayan peaks dominated by Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges with stunning Mt. Fishtail in between is a great view from Sarangkot. Moreover, to view these Himalayan giants during the sunrise is even more captivating. From Sarangkot we drive down the hill and stop at a KI Singh Bridge to sight the rushing Seti River gushing down the deep gorge.
Almost five minutes drive from the bridge, we arrive to Mahendra Cave. Walk in and out of the mystical Mahendra Cave and quickly drive to Bat Cave, which lies in very close proximity to Mahendra Cave. After exploring caves of Bat, we drive back to Lakeside. After the boating session in Fewa Lake, we enjoy our lunch in one of Lakeside’s restaurant. After the lunch, we drive the southern end of the town to explore the Davis Fall and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.
To end Pokhara Day Tour, we drive uphill to the Peace Pagoda, which caters the magnificent views of valleys and lake with the backdrop of Himalayan Peaks.
